Fantastic service, very clean and the technicians are friendly and welcoming. Priced reasonably and a basic pedicure includes a hot stone massage for $30.00!

Got a gel this past Friday. I broke and chipped one of my nails last night.....my fault. Went back this morning to get it repaired. Told the guy at the counter that it was my fault.... The nail tech, Tym, removed the damaged polish...looked at the break. Repaired it with an overlay and repainted it. NO CHARGE !!! Nice customer service !!!!! I'll be going back. Read Less

I have been using them for years. Jenny is my go-to girl but all the staff are great, as well. The place is clean and welcoming, has lots of color choices and application options and the equipment is new. They have tons of staff so even walk-ins don't have to wait long. Salem Nail Bar is a clean, efficient, beautifully run nail salon. Yesterday, I had booked a mani pedi appt. From the time I arrived Jenny made this an uncomfortable experience for me. My request for non-latex gloves was a long and pointed discussion about how vinyl gloves melt with acetone and that she was almost sure they had no alternative for latex and how expensive it is to purchase such gloves. Next, she swatted my feet around while, rushing through every step of this supposed relaxing service. After the pedi, I was swiftly ushered to the nail bar for my mani. Just as I sat my technician took a request for an eyebrow wax and didn’t return for about ten minutes. So now I know it’s not my imagination so I alert the owners and they are gracious and assure me they will have someone else finish my appointment. I thank them and Jenny ends up finishing my mani with no eye contact and too much tension for me, the customer who came to pay for a service. I tipped her 20% and left. This is a great nail salon and I hope this prevents this type of service from being toleratd. All I wanted was a mani/pedi without attitude. Read Less

So my first experience wasn't the absolute best. The nail tech was new and I wasn't happy with the final product. My husband called the salon after seeing my nails and shortly after Kelly (the salon manager) reached back out to us. She told me to come in and she would redo my nails at no extra charge. I went back today and she did such an amazing job. I live in Boston but I would come back every time to get them done by her again. Such a genuine woman who made sure to make the situation right. This place is by far the best nail place on the north shore and trust me I've tried them all. New Year's Eve they're so busy and had no time for me but still managed to accommodate me and my daughter and I never felt rushed at all! Besides how beautiful the salon is what really gets me is the cleanliness. Finding a decent nail tech is not hard but finding one in a beautiful spot that is also sanitary is a task. Replaceable plastic liners in the pedi basins, disposable foot files so everyone gets a new one, and all sanitized tool opened in front of you. Now besides all that clean bathrooms, floors and everything sparkling just seals the deal for me. Kelly did my mani pedi and even went out of her way to suggest a better polish for me that I knew would take her longer even though she was already staying late to accommodate me.
